Mark Group
So sad to see that the Mark Group have gone into the receivership. My thoughts go out to all those who have lost their jobs as a result.
However, I was hoping to use them as some point myself which is frustrating. Can anybody recommend an alternative company that does solar panels?

According to Which? There are many solar panel installers out there, so we recommend that you always collect a range of quotes to compare.
Visit Which? Local to find recommended solar panel installers, or search for a certified installer on the Microgeneration Certification website.0 -
Thanks guys, I'll give them a try.0

They should all go and they are, and the sooner the better. The ocean is not rising significantly, the polar ice is increasing, not melting, oh and polar bears are increasing in number. Heat waves have gone down not up and there has been no increase in storms - they are reducing. Mi££ions if not bi££ions have been spent over 20 years pseudo-proving the theory that carbon dioxide is a significant greenhouse gas causing significant warming are dead in the water .. .. there has been no warming for nearly 20 years. Load of cobblers built on the back of the poor being taxed to pay for (1) companies profits and (2) GOV employment figures and keeping up with the world GDP league who also use the essential 'green' scam for the same reasons. Energy need is going to double within the next 20 years, the lies about global warning mean countries particularly China & India will not give up on conventional fossil fuels, so the stark choice of carbon or nuclear is the same as it was 30 years ago.
They are all going and the sooner the better. If anyone here wants a windymill or a panel that's fine with me providing they bear 100% of its costs and zero subsidies of any kind are paid at any point in its entire life-cycle. That way people and politicians can get to feel all green and cosy with their own money not mine.Disclaimer : Everything I write on this forum is my opinion. What does 'significantly' mean in your terms? 5cm? 50? 1m? Enough that it starts to erode the beach or enough that it erodes your home?

Either way, fossil fuels will run out. That's a scientific fact. The sooner that renewables are as cost effective as fossil fuels for heating and powering homes business the better. This, however, has to be driven by demand from the public and not forced by government.
Humans have this extraordinary ability to see and recognise a problem but not do anything about it until it affects them; often this can be too late.0 -

Makes you wonder why an Australian news site has to go all the way to Alaska to find a news story on so called man made climate change. Surely what's going on in Antarctica would be of more relevance in the southern hemisphere? But wait, they've yet another record year for ice around the Antarctic continent, so that wouldn't go with the narrative that they are pushing.0 -

It is an Australian site quoting the LA Times which was covering Obama's trip to Alaska. Antarctica's ice is growing just as the Arctic is decreasing which is where Alaska is after all.0
