Confused over prize

Thanks for the replies. It was with a well know cinema chain so should be a reputable enough company.

Should receive it this week according to them, Thursday marks the 30 days I was told I would receive it within.

It's funny - I remembered this thread because I've been in the shortlist for a voting comp. That company kept saying 'iPad' 'iPad'. I had read the terms so knew it was a Mini but can see how others may have been confused.

Just thought I would post an update now this has been resolved.

The 30 days the company had to send me my prize passed so I emailed them and they chased the promoter sending the prize. The next day an ipad mini 3 arrived which they had ordered and had sent direct to me from John Lewis (with the receipt).

As I already have a tablet the size of the ipad mini I was able to go into my local John Lewis and swap it for an ipad Air which was £20 cheaper so I also got a nice case too. This also had the added bonus that John Lewis currently have a 3 year guarantee on iPads so the line in the terms stating "the promoter does not offer any warranty or guarantee of the quality of the prize" is no longer a worry as I have a receipt from John Lewis.

Also to apologise for not getting the prize to me in 30 days they said they would send a dvd bundle to me. I was really surprised and happy when it turned up this morning as they have sent me 15 films which are mostly new releases.
