50 Shades of Grey

I've never read it or seen the film (being a bloke), but I've had several women who know me say that the character in the book of Mr. Grey (sp?), reminds them of me. I keep asking if this is an insult or not? Can someone briefly explain what the deal is with this Mr. Grey? Is he a horrible person? A pervert? What?!

They are saying one of a few things here to you either that you are good looking as is he so says my other half and most of her mates, You may like kinky bedroom antics and or come across as arrogant.

Bloke here. Wife made me watch it.. Mr Grey is manipulative and emotionally dead inside, but massively minted. He's got a playroom without any proper games consoles in it, which is silly.

The film is crap. Go watch Children of Men instead
