Can UKPC suspension be made a sticky?

Slightly miffed that after being a good boy and reading the newbies thread last month, I've waited the suggested 20 days and appealed my UKPC 'parking charge' only to read on another forum that they've been suspended by the DVLA so probably wouldn't have been able to issue a notice to keeper. I've now supplied them with my details, I know I still have the appeals process to go through but a sticky for the moment may help?

Good point - I should mention it in the NEWBIES sticky asap.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Yeah but it's only UKPC and they'll forget to send a Notice to Keeper.

So, as keeper, you can then appeal fairly late to POPLA making sure it's past day 56 (too late for UKPC to address it). And your first appeal point will be no keeper liability, no NTK served (be careful at POPLA not to try to answer the leading questions - the driver must not be given away).

  • OK, thanks! So that's 56 days after the 'fine' was issued?

How long was the suspension for, I don't remember seeing a timescale mentioned? They could be back by now.
I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.
  • they could indeed , however as of 16.30 today

Thank you for your email regarding UKPC.

As UKPC are suspended from obtaining vehicle keeper data from the DVLA, we would not authorise any third parties to obtain data on their behalf. If a third party were to request data for a third party, they would have to notify DVLA of this. At this point, the DVLA would reject the request.

I trust this explains the Agency’s position.

    Kind regards
