Just depends if they've had any incidents.

They keep reporting incidents etc. which may make delays seem a lot more frequent than they are?
Anyway, I went away and back last week and ended up being put on earlier trains both ways.Change is inevitable, except from a vending machine.0 -
We used it yesterday for a daytrip to Calais. No problems on either crossing, both left on time. We managed to catch and earlier train coming back too.0

Great to hear, yes, as someone says above, the more serious incidents get splashed over the news and I fear the worst - don't want to get caught in a long queue with 2 littluns in the car! Might pack an extra sticker book or two just in case but I won't panic unnecessarily

Did it the week before last, there and back. No delays at all going out, it was extremely quiet. Coming back there was a bit of a queue to get through passport control of 20 mins or so.
The only immigrants I saw were three guys walking around the motorway just as you leave the port.Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0 -
I have. Both ways. Operation stack was on at the time and the news was full of rioting immigrants.
I didn't see anybody who looked like a potential immigrant and wasn't delayed at all. Despite the press reporting huge delays, I just turned up and was on the train within 15 minutes.0 -
Save your mirror hangers with your loading letter on it - you may be able to use it again sometime in the future.Change is inevitable, except from a vending machine.0

On my recent trip no issues going over, but had a 90 minute delay coming back due to migrants in the tunnel.0
