Credit File CCJ

Hello,

I have a CCJ showing on my credit file from May 2014.
The CCJ relates to personal claim for a car accident which I was not involved in.
Last year I received a court letter saying a claim had been registered against me for a car accident which occurred in my street.
I was not involved in the said car accident and the details in the claim referred to a completely different vehicle to which I drive and vehicle registration was also completely different to mine.
I responded to the court stating these facts.
I never heard anything else about the claim after this point.
As I have only recently reviewed by credit file i can see that the CCJ is showing on there. I am trying to find out what happened to the case - I have the case number. This was at Northampton County Court.
I have tried several phone numbers to try to speak to someone about this, but either get automated voicemail or phone rings and rings. The main number I keep getting pointed to is 0300 123 1056.
Does anyone know how I can find out more about the case or have a contact number?
I guess I could email the court ?

  • I had thank you, but couldn't get through on the phone lines.

I now see there is a message "We are currently experiencing problems with our helpdesk lines. The matter is under investigation. Please contact us by email instead:"

thanks anyway for confirming I was looking in the right place

I don't think the court building opens before 8.30am or 9.00am.
I don't know what time they start taking telephone calls, but I doubt it's before this time ;)
