galaxy tab2 pics syncing

My OH was very surprised to find lots of new pics on his galaxy phone, BUT many of them were mine taken by my galaxy tab 2.
how did this happen/
Something to do with back up, or inadvertantley using some option or other?
I do know his is sync to enable him to bluetooth his pics to my tab, so how do I stop mine auto going to his?
