Received partial payment from HBOS -Can I reclaim full amount?

I made a PPI claim to HBOS five or six years ago and they gave me a partial payment (approx 25% of what was due.) Since then, I've heard about banks giving full refunds plus interest. Can I reclaim?

What was your complaint about? What was the amount they offered? What was their reason for offering that amount? What is your reason for thinking it should have been more? Did you sign a "full and final" acceptance of the offer amount? If so, why did you sign it when you think you should get more?
The FOS timescale has now long gone so you cannot refer the complaint to them. Any attempt to go back to the lender is likely to be met with the response that you have already accepted the previous offer and the matter is now closed. Nonetheless, as you can see, a few more questions to be answered before a more definite view can be given.0
