Virgin Media telephone customers - check your bills

(False alarm, sorry - as has been pointed out below from 27th May calls to mobiles and non-geographic numbers are rounded up to the nearest minute. This is the first time I've noticed it and some members of the call centre staff apparently aren't aware of this change.)

Folks :-
I have a land line phone supplied by VirginMedia with the talk unlimited package and itemised billing. The bill landed on the doormat today and looking through it in the itemised calls they have rounded up to the nearest minute all calls to non-geographic / mobile calls.

I spoke to someone in their call centre and apparently this has affected a number of customers. They've knocked £15 off the bill now I've complained, if I hadn't I don't know what they'd have done.

Can I strongly suggest to all VirginMedia landline customers that they check their recent and any forthcoming bills?

I hope that helps

Kev
