Egg Card ppi not much details can I still claim?

hi folks, I had an egg card back in 2009, I can only find one email but have no account number etc.

I am pretty certain I paid insurance on the card of some sort to egg.

Have I missed the boat on this or can I still claim? If I can claim what is the best route considering I don't have much details.

The last mention of egg claims seem to be in 2012 on the forums and people mention barclaycard taking them over!?

Any help would be appreciated!

you can get the required info by sending a SAR or just get a free credit check.
  • Thanks for the help, is this SAR letter template and details still valid?

The term "claim" is a misnomer. You are talking about a complaint. So basically you just write to whoever you think has done something wrong, telling them what you think has been done wrong and giving them 8 weeks to reply. FWIW I think Egg were taken over by Barclaycard, though couldn't swear to it.
  • As mentioned above looks like they are Citibank!

    Hi
I received a letter back in 2013 from Canada Square Operations (formerly known as Egg Banking PLC) saying they were reviewing all ppi. I think it was before the SHTF on ppi so they were volunteering to repay. I received a cheque shortly after.

Their address is Canada Square Operations, PO Box 4903, Worthing, BN99 3AR. Sorry, there's no phone number on the final letter I've found. I'll see if I can find the first one they sent me. Fingers crossed.
