Car Insurance Question?

A car hit me when I was driving my husbands car. The claim was handled through my husbands insurance as I was a named driver. When I come to renew my insurance on my car do I declare this accident as I was driving or will my husband declare it when he comes to renew his insurance even though he wasn't driving?

You need to disclose this to all motor insurers you are covered by.
Check the policy wording on your own policy to see when they require informing as some require it immediately and others just at renewal.
As long as you continue as a named driver on your husband's policy he only declares it as part of your history
If you are taken off his policy then he would have to disclose the claim as part of his own claim history0
