Out of interest, was it this card you were going for?

Sorry for bumping this thread, but I just wanted to share some good news regarding this thread that I opened less than a month ago.

This is what I did and it worked:
    • I sent an appeal to MBNA telling them that I voluntarily reduced my credit limit on one of the cards I have with them.
    • I also cancelled the MBNA Virgin card that I don't use.
    • They received my appeal and approved me for ths MBNA Everyday Plus card with a credit limit of £3,500.
I received my card, PIN - everything already pretty quickly and it works great!
I'm just going to compare the Halifax Clarity and the MBNA Everyday Plus and see which one charges less for transactions abroad (or whether they both charge the same).

Overall that's good news I think, no need to wait 6 months to re-apply, the appeal worked and I finally have the card that I wanted. :D

So now just STOP. You are now beginning to look desperate for credit to me and if you are looking that way to me then just think how you must be looking to the companies you are asking for that credit from.

Please read post #32 above (you were probably responding to my initial post, read post #32 please and note the time difference between my initial post and post #32). Thanks.

I did read post #32 (along with all the others) and I still think that even though you got that you are looking desperate for credit. A few weeks in these circumstances is nothing.

I am not sure I fully understand you, but I got what I was looking for, I am not going to apply for any credit for the next few months if that's what you're trying to convey - so yes, of course, it's time to let the credit build itself and not touch it, so definitely I'm not going to apply for anything else in the near future.
