    TA

Fingers crossed that the ring turns up soon.

    Judi

I hope today is a better day for you.

Emptied the pulley full of laundry and put another load of damp washing on it. I have two lots of bedding still to wash but no way it will dry outside today so will have to wait. I managed to fold and sort a load of bedding, towels and clothes and put them away which has helped.

Cleaner came today and helped me change the superking bedding which is a struggle on my own. The house is looking clean and tidy and I am just about to have a long shower, shampoo and get changed ready to pop out to the shops for milk and veg.

DD is coming tonight to drive me to slimming group so hoping for a loss even a small one.

    Hugs to all

I appreciate your words of encouragement. Just being able to offload here is a great help. Family telling me to toughen up isnt a help because i'm not tough.

Despite that i am going to hopefully dodge the showers this morning and go and see Mom. I hope the contents of her chest of drawers has turned up. As far as i could see, nothing was named but ive been accused of taking over so ive had to bite my tongue.

Hope that things get better for you soon Judi.

I'm off to lie down in a dark room as I've just paid for the new car! Pressing 'confirm' on the bank webpage took me about 10 seconds to do but I managed it eventually.

Congrats on the new car Gers. May it give you many trouble free miles.:)

I was with Mother for about 3 hours earlier she was asleep for most of it. She slept through dinner, she slept through afternoon tea. I was at a loss as to what to do. Moms room is no bigger than the average box room. It contains a bed, a wardrobe, a small 2 drawer chest of drawers a sink with cupboards under it and a commode. "I ay sitting on the commode until i need to" i muttered under my breath so i sat on her bed as theres not a lot of room for another chair. Piles of stuff everywhere from her other room but very little in the way of night clothes and underwear. From a 4 drawer chest she is now down to a 2 drawer bedside table. Do i say anything? i asked myself.... No was my answer.. Ive been criticised enough for taking over. Since no one had put Moms few possessions away and there wasnt enough room to swing a cat (poor kitty but you get me drift), i decided to have a tidy up. I'd only been there half an hour when one of the girls came into me and told me my brother was here. I cursed under my breath but 15 minutes later the same girl came in to tell me that they noticed i'd signed in and cleared off.

Mom has no interest in food or drink. She is given drinks but makes no attempt to try and drink herself. She just sits there i am told.

I kissed her twice and she smiled but that was about it.

I am now waiting for someone to tell me off for rearranging her room.

    Have a good evening all.

Hi - no not looked there but will do! Still not turned up despite looking in the most bizarre places where it couldn't possibly be! I am beginning to feel quite upset now. Mr TA says we will buy another but it's not the same is it. I've had that one 43 years and don't want another. I now have the DGDs on the case but they really are looking in places where it couldn't possibly be! I mean do I really play with Kitty's kitchen when they are not here!

    Afternoon all,

TA - I really hope you find your ring. You never know - I noticed the stone from one of my rings was missing. It turned up in the cover of my mobile phone. So anything is possible!

Judi - Have a (((hug))). Hope things improve for you soon.

Picked up the first Jack Monroe cook book from the library today and have a Lemon, Courgette and Sultana loaf about to go into the oven.

Had a bit of a surprise yesterday. Not sure whether to be pleased or not. Don't know if you remember, my DS2 was at College last year (finished in July) and although he IS able and did have fantastic attendance, he never did any homework and had multiple assignments outstanding (so I am led to believe). A Certificate came in the post saying he had passed his year!! This was news to him too. I would have thought that the College would have told the Students prior to sending out Certs? Although I don't believe he wanted to do the second year, he was led to believe he wouldn't attain the Pass necessary to do so. So mixed feelings :/

Right off to bake the bread. Oh and it's the last Dr Foster tonight...
