I see a lot of people on here having to pay for 6 years instead of 5 years for their IVA. Why does this happen?
Also my iva docs state my IVAs is for 5 years can they make me pay for 6?

Hello greenbrucelee, this comes about if your IVA is extended for 12 months. If you look at your paperwork there will be information regarding period 54.Never make assumptions always ask questions>>>>>;)0

I don't see anything about period 54.0

They are usually extended by a year in the event that a homeowner is unable to release equity. This shouldn't happen if you are a tenant.0

Thanks I am a tenant.0
