A few questions about bank switching bonuses

If want to bag the leaving cash too then you do have to pay in the £1000 a month I believeYou must have paid at least £1,000 a month into your bank account for six months0

Apologies, I'm getting confused with the terms for getting high interest.0

If you've opened a 'dummy account' for switching, then I'd just put a nominal amount in it for the transfer. That way, your £1k can be earning better interest elsewhere during the switch, it isn't much if there are issues with the switch, and you're more certain that the "pay in" part of the terms is met for the switch bonus.0

Thanks, I think that's what I'll do. I was wondering whether someone could say for definite what was/wasn't accepted, but given the uncertainty, I think I'll just pay the money in after the account is open to play it safe.0
