Just a thought for debate, would you enter every comp just because you can, and end up with an unwanted prize, when someone else would have really needed it? :money:

There are too many comps for me to bother with stuff I don't want or need.

I enter a lot of comps, but I enter on the basis of myself keeping it or giving it to someone else as a gift. It's nice to win, but I can imagine it being pretty disappointing if you win something you don't actually want!

I only enter for things that I/my family want/could use. Our house is cluttered enough without adding unwanted prizes to it!

Don't see the point in entering for stuff you don't want for yourself or to give to someone. If people enter everything and anything then they've far too much time on their hands.
I don't even enter half the stuff I post.
Can't see it being much of a thrill opening a package and thinking "Whoopee! what am I supposed to do with this"

Some folk say "a wins a win" but is it really?

No point entering for stuff I don't want/need or can't use.

So I only enter for things I can use, need, or have another use for.

I also only enter for things that I/my friends/my family would like or could make use of. When I first started comping I was entering for anything and everything just in the hope that I might actually win something. Ended up only ever winning stuff that I had no use for, so now only enter for stuff I actually like.

Yeah, just the things I would really like. Although, on saying that, I won a lovely prize last month which was a dream prize for me and at the time I entered it I was available for. Unfortunately, we took a last minute break to the Isle Of Wight and I won the competition and couldn't actually take it up! Was hugely disappointing!
