You could remind Churchill that they are in breach of Treating Customer Fairly - Consumer Outcome 6.

The documentation we needed arrived in the nick of time today, clearly unhurried in any way by Churchill (we'd been asking for this since early September and their letter is dated the 3rd of October). I am relieved, but also angry that this has happened, and will be making a formal complaint. Thanks again to rs65 for the helpful links - much appreciated.0
