Gripfill vs Unibond Bond&Seal - is there much difference?

I bought some Gripfill to fill in some failed screw-holes in our walls, which suffer from crumbly masonry, so I can remount some heavy shelves.
I also need to re-mount a pole of baskets in the corner of our bath-shower, which originally came with 'adhesive pads' to stick to the tiling - but of course they failed days after erecting.
Anyway - is the Gripfill the right product to use for this latter job or would something like Unibond Bond&Seal work better (it is a damp environment, obv); or are they pretty much the same thing?
Ideally I would like to be able to remove the pads from the tiles at a later date without breaking the tiles.

Re the adhesive pad bathroom fittings. I restuck ours to the wall with EvoStick Serious Stuff .Apparently it even cures under water - so seemed a good choice for a bathroom. They have fallen off again once each - but that was because I never removed the sticky pad material. So the first time the fitting came unstuck from the wall, the second time when the sticky pad material came off the fitting (and stayed on the wall with the Serious Stuff). Since removing all the sticky pad stuff the Serious Stuff has kept all the stuff stuck (if you see what I mean !)0

Sticks like *hit is good too cures when wet. I get it from screwfix
gripfill is good glue but have to use it all in one go as it doesn't have a cap on the sealant0 -
ok thanks for that0

I've noticed the trade seems to use gripfill for nearly everything. It's probably no wonder when you can get a tube of the stuff for a couple of quid and the stuff marketed to the consumer is sold at many times the price.
I don't think gripfill is the right thing for tiles in the bathroom though - I'd use silicone for that as that as it will stick to smooth surfaces and it will be removable later. You can get small tubes of acid free silicon glue from Hobby Craft for a couple of quid - it's good stuff; our shower fixings are all attached with this and they haven't moved. Alternatively bog standard bathroom sealer would do.0 -
You can get gripfill at B&Q cheap. Sticks like *hit seems more difficult to get hold off at least in my area. I know Screwfix and Jewsons sell it never see it in any of the diy sheds though0

I tend to use a hot melt glue gun, works really well, especially if you rough the surface slightly with emery cloth0

never got on with sticks like and dont like gripfill as it tends to need support until it cures.
siroflex grib and grab is my choice these days.very powerful stuff grabs instantly.so much so that when i installed through wall vents 2 floors up and didnt fancy going up the ladders i stuck the ducting and exterior vent through the hole outside (and then realised the grille was upside down). i had to use a hammer to break it up and get it out (was 10 mins from sticking to the wall)
use it reguarly for skirtings too and the advantage is that it actually grips instantly no matter how heavy the item is unlike most other 'grab' adhesives
have a look on youtube for itEven a stopped clock tells the right time twice a day, and for once I'm inclined to believe Withnail is right. We are indeed drifting into the arena of the unwell.0
