Dear Diary - good evening!! Thought I'd just pop on for a little update.

Well, today I fell like I've had things put in to perspective for me and no matter how much I feel like I've gone through a bad patch lately, it's nothing...minute...TINY in-fact in comparison to what some people have gone through and are still going through and I just feel very blessed and grateful for all that I have, no matter how tough I feel things have been.

Some good news on the mortgage front - it's almost done and dusted so we will be paying around £80/month less, which we can use towards servicing another debt!

I've also started saving £5/week for Christmas, which I will up to £10 once everything with our switch to Virgin and our new mortgage company settles down.

Happy days are on their way....happy, happy days.

    TTFN
Debt as of Sept' 2015 (LBM!): £36,351  (sickening)
Monthly outgoings on debt alone: £1243/month

We're on the right path, we got ourselves here..we're a bit lost, but we'll find our way back again!

Good evening peeps - 'tis the end of yet another busy, manic weekend but it has been a good 'un as it was my birthday on Thursday and we have done loads. I had some money given to me as gifts so I've used that to pay this month's cc payment that I bought my concert ticket on.

I have also been reviewing my gas and electric and have been able to switch to a new tariff, without any exit fees and have managed to shave off another £17/month off our bills!

Hopefully (by the end of this week), our mortgage switch will have been settled and we will get a nice cheque in the post...looking forward to seeing that in the bank but you know how the old saying goes....in one hand, straight out the other!
