Lloyd's reopening a closed credit card ppi case

Hi guys,
2-3yrs ago my missus claimed back ppi from loans and a credit card. They declined on the card for reasons I cannot remember but settled the loan ppi to the tune of about £3k.
The deadline had passed for me to appeal about the card, my fault put the letters away and forgot.
Last week my missus had a call from Lloyd's (told them she doesn't discuss banking to ppl who call her) called them back today and was told the claim for the card is being looked at and they needed to run through a 20 minute survey but did t have time.
Anyone here know what this is all about? I'm judging by the length of the survey they will try and catch her out and the decline the claim again.
Anyone know what type of questions they will ask her?

You are never caught out by the truth.
Depends on what her complaint reasons were and how the evidence looked vs what they have on file.Anyone know what type of questions they will ask her?I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). Ok, so my missus spoke to Lloyd's today.
Never caught out by the truth?
How about starting every question with : so, when you took out the ppi insurance ...... And this went on for about 7 or 8 questions even though every answer was "I never took out any insurance....
They are reviewing the case again and will hear back in a few weeks.0 -

I'm not casting aspersions on your wife's complaint but if you had ever worked in a PPI complaints team you would understand why they might be a bit sceptical. If I had a pound for every time I had someone swear blind to this exact thing, only for a call recording or signed application to turn up confirming that they (at best) had just forgotten about taking out the cover, I would be a rich man. Just wait and see now I suppose.0
