Donating Audio books on Cassette

Hi,
In clearing an elderly relatives house we have a large quantity of audio books, cassette tape format. Many of which are new.
I realise this is not a format used nowadays - does anyone know of any charities, or listening libraries who make use of these.
Happy to donate but we have too many to start cataloging and selling.
Any suggestions greatly appreciated - RNIB has already said they cannot use them.
Thanks

You could offer them on Freecycle, someone might me glad to get hold of audio books on cassette.0

Lol. Memories ... cassettes are those clumsy things that delight in snagging up inside cassette players, snapping and having to be turned around every 15 minutes. By now I expect you've dumped them in a bin. However you could keep them for 20 years and sell as antiques on auction sites, then donate the money to charity.0

My mum had loads of these and I passed them on to a friend who works in a Care Home, she tells me that the residents are enjoying them now0

Ask a few local charity shops. Some still take them, some don't but unless you ask you will not find out.
But before you do that check on ebay, you don't know some my be valuable to someone on there. The more I live, the more I learn.
The more I learn, the more I grow.
The more I grow, the more I see.
The more I see, the more I know.
The more I know, the more I see,
How little I know.!!0
