Cashback vs Loyalty/Credit Cards

I'm currently using an Amex Nectar card together with the Sainsbury Nectar card to get my fuel from Sainsbury @ approx £125/month.
I'm getting the Nectar points off both cards, but I'm wondering if it's a better option to go for a cashback card to buy my fuel?
PS I only use the Amex for fuel.
Anyone already done the maths?
Cheers

You would have to get a credit card paying more than 1% cashback to beat it.
Perhaps:

If you have an Asda near you, get their credit card as you get 2p off per litre, so at todays prices is a tad over 2%. There fuel is generally one of the cheapest (where my parents live, anyway!!)
