Hi Guys,
I was looking on here as i thought it might be useful for me as i am a president of a registered kids charity.
I was just wondering if anyone would know where i could get sponsors from for my sons football team? They are a new team and are in desprate need of some equpment and winter training coats ect, does anyone know of anywhere that could help me aside from trying local businesses.x
many thanks
I'm sorry if this isnt the right place to put this!

where abouts are you based? it may be worth contacting your local councils sports development dept to see if there are any grants available etc... also parents within the team, we have 3 parents who between them cover costs. if not the football foundation do provide grants for kits but their are T&C's.Duct tape is like the force. Sorry about the caps lock!!! We have tried the parents, no joy unforyunatly, my sons old team did this and they had 2 dads who gave the team £500 each but no such luck this time!!!!
I am surprised, i wasnt sure if i'd get any replies!!!!
Thanks guys!!!0 -
What about asking if the parent's employers would be interested? Offer to have the name/logo printed on the jackets etc.
I remember many years ago at my (very small) primary school, we needed a new set of shirts for the team. One of th eparents was a rep for Pearl (life insurance), so we had the name of a multi billion pound company on our tops!
Apart from that make up a letter to put round local business's saying who you are, what you do, what you're after etc0 -

Hi, thinking about it Tesco used to do a scheme for small team grants, they bought us a set of goals a few years ago, don't know if they still have it. try this link they have lots of options to apply for funding. good luck. I know how difficult it is to get this stuff going. I presently am trying to secure a pitch.
