Still undecided. Not particularly about Lloyds but banking stocks in general at the moment. Already hold a cross section of financial companies directly plus those within IT's. So plenty of exposure.
Drawing a line under PPI claims would be a start. When Lloyds announce the financial results for 2015.0 -
So what sort of results are we hoping for on Thursday then?0

Any advance on that?0 -

Not a bad guess!!
Increased ordinary dividend with payment of a special dividend The Board has recommended a final ordinary dividend of 1.5 pence per share, making a total ordinary dividend for the year of 2.25 pence per share, in line with our progressive and sustainable ordinary dividend policy In addition, the Board has recommended a capital distribution in the form of a special dividend of 0.5 pence per share0 -
Couple of billion more PPI provided for since Q3, relatively high current year taxes and a few other negatives- not all good news by any stretch, but there are a number of positives, like the projections that make them think they can pass a spare half penny of cash back to investors as a special dividend because they don't need it in the business.
Something tells me most private investors won't be reading the full 94 pages of narrative and financial statements released this morning nor even understand them if they tried: instead, just watch the price chart and decide that this year's total 2.75p is >4% yield at last night's price so it's a good bargain.0 -
Well done you guys who bought at sub-60p recently. Looks like you may have timed it just nicely ...0

I bought a couple of weeks ago at 62p. Currently at 72p. I've read a target price of 78p. Unsure whether to not be greedy and pull now or wait a little longer0

If the climb continues watch this space for the scheduling of the public sale and a further sale from Her Majestys.0
