CCJ Problem looking for advice

Hello all, I hope you can help me out.
I have received through the post a Claim Form from County Court Business Centre in regards to a debt from about 4 or 5 years ago with HSBC for £2,500. 4 or 5 years ago is also the last time I paid anything on the debt.
I have had a lot of personal trouble in these last few years and still on going. I am not working and I do not claim any benefits so I am unable to offer anything to pay back this debt. What do I do?
Also, on the particulars of the claim and the form I received it says the contract was between the defendant and HSBC dated on or about Jan 01 1900 and assigned to the claimant (Arrow Global Limited) on Mar 28 2014
Many thanks if you can offer any advice on what to do next :A

Hi Halowar and welcome to MSE.
Unfortunately, the creditor has 6 years to try and get a CCJ against you from the time of the last payment/written acknowledgement (assuming this is in England or Wales) so the timeframe wouldn't be considered a problem.
You have 14days to reply to the claim forms starting from the 'Issue Date', plus 5 days for postage. If you don't dispute the balance you will need to complete the Admission form and do a budget....if you offer £0 then the forms are invalid and you would get a default judgement - you will need to make an offer of at least £1per month in box 11 of the Admission form. We have a factsheet about this that may help you - https://www.nationaldebtline.org/EW/factsheets/Pages/20%20EW%20County%20court%20-%20replying%20to%20a%20claim%20form/Default.aspx
There are benefit calculators online to help you work out what income you can claim. I hope you get it all sorted,
Laura
