Need refund on SAS flight - any ideas?

Hi

We have booked with SAS (Sweden) to fly back to the UK in December. However, we may be going home in October and would as you might imagine want our £350 back if possible. We have looked at the policies and they state that they do not make refunds unless cancelled within 24 hours.

Any bright ideas welcomed.

Assuming you are not within the 24 hours, or the situation is not covered by travel insurance, I think you have found the answer yourself.

I have had to cancel flights with SAS on more than one occasion. The tickets were non refundable but they have always given back the taxes and charges on the tickets without charging an admin fee. It's normally reimbursed to my credit card within a few days of making the call. So, whilst you will not get all your money back, you should be able to recover some of it.

I don't think a refund is possible but I've altered tickets for 500kr (£37) per person recently. You'd need to pick a date and time that's available at the original price.

I have just changed sas flights and they charged me £40
No problem changing at all
