I was with BT for internet. On the Home Hub 4 I could restrict internet access times for each connected device individually so could limit the internet hours on my daughters phone. (e.g. 07:00 - 07:30, 3:30 - 4:30, 7:30 - 8:30)

I have moved to Sky and was surprised that this option is not available on their router.

Does anyone have any tips for achieving this, perhaps a router setting (SR102) of by putting an android app on her phone?

(Very happily her mobile piggybacks on EE and their signal is so poor here that she can't get round the wifi restriction using mobile data :) )
I think....

With The Sky (SR102) it's not possible to do it.

It is possible with many other routers, just not Sky's. Unfortunately Sky force their rubbish router on you.

There are parental control apps in the Google play store (I'm assuming android here) that will perform this function on her phone, perhaps someone could recommend one they have experience of as I haven't used them; I use the router method with my off-spring.
Science isn't exact, it's only confidence within limits.

A quick google around produced this : But I don't have a sky router so cant confirm :-

If you look under Security and then block sites you can set a schedule (right hand side) to block sites by keyword or by sites containing any mixture you want. you can also set a trusted IP address to allow one PC access without restriction. it will block all PC's other than your trusted IP address so your wife might end up not being able to access FB unless you set a schedule so after 9pm you can access all sites for example.

If the phone is Android there is a nice app we use that can limit internet time....

Still have it but it seems to be unhackably locked to BT and adding it as a router doesn't work as it only blocks its own internet access not all network traffic. (and blocking the whole lan would not be ideal either as there is still file sharing and printing that I don't want to block)

You can do this but the schedule seems to be limited to a single off and on time and anyway I access the internet by 4 devices myself regularly and then there are the TV boxes, consoles etc that need access.
