Does anyone know what level of cash back is paid if you use a Santander 123 credit card on currys.co.uk?

Is it treated as a department store so qualifies for the 2% cash back rate?

Also, can I just confirm that the £3 max cash back per category only applies to new 123 cards (from mid Sept)?

    I didn't get cashback for my one and only Currys purchase on this card a couple of months ago. Indeed, Currys doesn't come up on their "where can I get cashback?" search tool online.

    I believe you are correct re the cashback cap.

    Cash back will be allocated according to the retailers MCC code and Currys (5722/5732?) will most certainly not be a "department store"(5311?).

    I get "Retailer Offers" for Argos quite often, typically 5% to 8% cashback.

    If you get the Argos one, why not check on their catalogue, might have the same thing you wanted.
