Can any kind person on here provide me with a) an address for Asprea's head Office and possibly the name of their CEO or Managing Director ? I have searched everywhere I can online and come up with nothing.
Failing that the same information for Aviva.
I have never experienced such difficulty in tracking down these bits of information which must be in the public domaine somewhere.
If you can help do PM me if you'd prefer !
Many thanks.

Asprea are basically just builders. If you have a complaint about your claim you need to go to the correct channels, by logging a complaint with the claims department.
Even if you write to the CEO etc all they will do is pass the complaint on to the complaint team - in the same way the claims team will do if they cannot resolve your issues. If you then remain unhappy, you then go to the FOS.
The CEO etc won't actually deal with your complaint, as they won't have any idea how to. They will likely lease / pass onto the claims team which actually causes further delays as takes a few days for them to allocate it to a claims handler. So it's easier just to call the claim line.0 -
Thanks for that - my problem is that we have had HIDEOUS experience with the people who were rather incompetently dealing with our claim. No point in discussing it AGAIN with them. I know CEOs etc don't actually deal with these things themselves but sometimes it works in that your letter gets passed to someone who can make things happen. Thanks for replying anyway.

Asprea are owned by Aviva.
If your claim is through Aviva, you are more likely to achieve a result by complaining to them. They have a regulatory duty to properly investigate claims and are also liable for their contractors actions0 -

Hi Morganlefay
I'm really sorry to see this. If your claim is with Aviva I would be happy to help and will do all I can to help get things back on track for you.
Would you please email me at social@aviva.co.uk with the details of what has happened and include the following details for security purposes
Full name
Date of birth
Post code
Policy number
If you can also please include your MSE username so i can link your email to this post it would really help. Once I receive the details I will get this across to our team for investigation and update you as soon as I can.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Kind regards
Dave
