I'm looking at getting a handrail for our staircase as its very steep and the stairs are narrow. It's not an open staircase so we have just been using the walls to steady ourselves.
I've been looking at Richard Burbidge wooden Round Staircase Handrail Kit from Screwfix. Just wanted to know whether there were cheaper/ better places to get it from or something similar. I'm looking at wood rather than metal. I'm planning on getting someone in to install it as Im not good at DIY and dont have much spare time at the mo.
Thank you

No idea about better/best etc, but last time I had a builder in, he got me a rail from Howdens, which I'm happy with. I think it was about £25 for a 4m rail.0

My local timber yard was about 1/2 the price of anywhere else.0
