on 15/08/2015 i went shopping at aldi bury st eds for the 1st time i did not look for parking restrictions and went about my mission, as it was my 1st time progress was slow. i have since recieved afine notice from parking eye.ihave spoken to aldi and the area manager has twice told parking eye that the fine is to be cancelled and tell me that the matter is dealt with.i have not appealed to parking eye as i assumed that aldis intervention would be final. aldi have a copy of my till reciept and i have proof thro my bank state ment. at the moment i have 3 demands from pe and i just wonder what my position is regarding this situation my offence was to spend about 20 mins longer than i was allowed

    Do you have the Aldi manager's confirmation that he is going to cancel the fine in writing?

    Parking Eye are well known for pursuing charges despite their contracted Principal telling them to stop.

    No matter how many threads you start, the advice is the same!!


    Start by reading the newbies FAQ thread at the top of the forum.


    Don't rely on the info that Aldi have given you.


    Until you get notification from PE proceed as if this is a "live" PCN.
  • no i dont just telephone conversations
  • You need to get it in writing to help your defence should Parking Eye decide to try court.
