I've just got a new tablet and can get my emails on it ok BUT when I try to follow a (legitimate) link in an email it just wont 'go'. The link isn't blue as it is on my pc and my laptop. I'm not techie enough to know if this is common to all tablets or if one of the settings need tweeking?
Can anyone tell me please what I need to change or if this is common to all tablets and can't be changed?
Also please, should I be able to copy & paste on a tablet?
Tablet is a Samsung Tab S
Thank you

Does anything happen if you touch a link?
I use Gmail on my Samsung. If I long press a link I get asked if i want to open or copy the url(link). Does yours do this?0 -
Yes you can copy and paste, you tap and press on a word until it says copy and you can copy the word or copy a sentence.0

That's strange, because the links in my emails, are active.
Which tablet?0 -
Thank you for your replies.
No nothing happens when I try to tap the link, nothing to suggest I might want to copy it either.

Thank you Bedsit Bob I'll have another go later - I'm on the pc at the moment.
I have had another idea - when the links wont work/show up blue could it be because I'm looking at my emails on 'webmail'? And should I therefore get them on the tablet somewhere else?0 -

It shouldn't make a difference, but you could try receiving them via an email client.
Does your tablet have a G-Mail client?
If so, set up a G-Mail account (if you haven't already done so), then add in your webmail accounts.
Even if it doesn't solve your current problem, it'll save you having to log into webmail, to read and send emails.0 -
