Random JSA payment

I received £40 today, it's marked as JSA.
I currently receive DLA and ESA (support group). I'm not due actual benefit payment until this coming Tuesday (6th).
I've not had any letters about this random payment. My medical conditions haven't changed, they're still incurable.
Should I be worried? I'm calling DWP on Monday but I can't stop myself fron feeling anxious.

The main thing is that you've spotted an unexpected payment and you are calling DWP about it, so there is really nothing to feel anxious about. If it has been paid in error they can get it back and if it's payment due to you you have £40 more than you thought. It's really a no-lose situation for you.0

Could be a error on their part, maybe a digit wrong on a bank account. Do not spend the money as they will just apply to your bank account for the money back.0

ESA payments are sometimes marked as JSA as a reference so likely to be an ESA payment.
Could be a back payment of some kind but best to check.0 -

DWP cant apply to banks to get money back, If the payment was in error they would simply do an overpayment and debt management would deduct money from the claimants ESA claim,
Also if DWP made an error on their behalf they write it off.
And DWP payments are marked as EESA, Not sure what the extra E is for...0 -
Sometimes ESA payments are marked as JSA and not EESA as already stated.0

It's hard when you have anxiety issues to not be anxious. Stress and worry have impact on my physical health issues too. It's the fear they've done something and I'm not aware of it, which has happened to me before.0

Have you been on ESA for >5 years?
It may be backdated christmas payments, there were some errors on people not being paid them. (10/year)0
