balance transfers questions?

in Credit cards
i have 2 graduate accounts i need to pay off as the interest is really high now. is it best to get a 0% on balance transfers card and pay them off like that?

Welcome to MSE.
Or you could look at "Life of balance cards" where you do pay a rate of interest but it is way lower than the standard interest can be as low 6% on current cards.As it says the interest stays at that rate even if it takes five years to pay the debt off.Always pay more than the minimum amount each month.
You can always shift some of the debt to 0% cards at a later date when you feel able to pay off larger amounts and still leaving the remainder on the LOB card.
