Parking Eye charge notice Euro Garages Deeside Service station

Can anyone help please?
I have received one of these notices this morning.
It states I parked at one of these areas at 14:02:00 and left at 16:14:24 and it says it states only 2 hours allowed.
They are asking for £100.00 or £60 if I pay within 14 days.
The site in question has a Starbucks coffee shop, Greggs bakers,Subway, Burger king and a large Spar store.
I have never seen any notices about parking and really don't know what t do can anyone help?

Read the newbie thread - use the appeals, at the same time email Eurogarages (who I've used before for other matters and who DO respond) complaining like hell, including copies of receipts if you used the facilities.

It's a non-descript place on the edge of an industrial park - why do they need PE anyway?!

Read the Sticky thread for NEWBIES at the top of the main page. This is your one stop shop on how to beat this scam.

Do not pay, do not ignore, do not reveal who was driving, do not miss the appeal deadline.

This assumes you are in England or Wales and it is not a hire or lease vehicle.

There aren't any planning applications for signs by either EuroGarages, ParkingEye or at the actual post code on Flintshire County Council's website.

Do a little digging around the Town and Country Planning (Control of Advertisements) Regulations 1992 and the subsequent Town and Country Planning (Control of Advertisements) (Amendment) (Wales) Regulations 2012, have a good look at the signs on this site, put 2 and 2 together, and you may find some more dirt to throw at ParkingEye in the form of another appeal point.

Hint - Google Ex turpi causa then read the lack of planning consent and possible unlawful status of the signs in the context of the BPA Code of Practice para 2.4 (the same paragraph implies the same in both the Feb 14 and Oct 15 versions, whichever was contemporaneous!) - two lumps of dirt for the price of one!

You need to appeal to PE, using the initial appeal in the NEWBIES FAQ sticky, within the timescale shown by PE on the NtK.

That's your immediate important job, and mustn't be postponed as you make all your other enquiries/complaints.
