Is there cheap flights down under @ Xmas

:A :A
Hi all

I want to do a return trip to New Zealand between mid December & mid January 2006. Can you get cheap flights at that time of the year? I see cheap flights advertised for June 2005 @ around £500 but during a New Zealand summer would that be possible?

Cheers : :A :A

You can but I think you have to be away before the 13th Dec or thereabouts.

IMHO I think you wil struggle to get a flight to NZ for near £500, You may be looking at nearer £700+ as it is their summer and it tends to be very busy. If you are going on hols then you must book the activities you want to do such as whale watching etc as they get booked up very quick.

People book for D'under at Christmas / New Year the previous Christmas. If you want "cheap flights" then avoid that fortnight & the a week either side.
