Ashampoo Burning Studio 5

Hi

I have been using this software on trial thanks to a great reccommendation on this site - but now have to enter a key because it's the end of the trial.

Ashampoo say that I should get sent a free one by sending my email address, but it won't accept my email address.

Can anyone help?

What error message are you getting?
Who are you e-mail provider?

I don't know the software package but are you sure it's free and you don't need to pay for it after the evaluation period expires?

Email permitting, try to get a free code for Ashampoo® Burning Studio 2007* from their website. If you're able to get this, pm me (I do not require your email address) & I can send you a download link for this newer version (8-9Mb).

I have versions 5 & 6 and to be honest I prefer 5. If you cannot get a free version of 7, I would recommend that you get the free version of 5 and go on their mailing list. They will keep sending you special offers and eventually you will get offered version 7 for about £5.

For anyone who hasn't used, ashampoo is an excellent burning programme for virtually anything and is simplicity itself to use.

I also use the 2007 free version - as mentioned by GoofyGAT - I downloaded it after the offer technically had expired from computeractive as it was still there in Dec '06 and I find it simple and brilliant . So much easier than Roxio.
It is an upgrade above version 6 to just below the gadget level on the newest version 7.

I get the message

"The e-mail address entered is either invalid or not acceptable.

Please try again and/or use a different e-mail address"

It' my hotmail address that I've never had problems.

I'm grateful for any help as I found this software easy to use.

Could be because it's Hotmail.

Try with a different email address. Or, if you don't have one, create a new Google Mail or Inbox email address & have a go with that.

Once you get the 2007 code, reply to this thread or pm me requesting the download link. G

As I will have to reinstall Ashampoo, what does the 2007 version offer over version 5? Is it worth changing to the later version?
