I followed your link to buy one for both myself (seeing as it had an adaptor) and husband. When I came to check out it seems that you have to pay for two lots of postage! I would have thought that buying from the same company they would send the two out for the same postage or at the very least a reduced rate. I have just ordered the one for now because of this. It is still an excellent price though, just can't afford the two lots of postage at present.

Becuase you are buying from a 3rd party through Amazon, not amazon itself, amazon always adds on the postage per item.

could try contacting the seller and ask if they do a discount for multiple items in one package.

Just cancelled my order with Amazon. The postage has now gone up to £5.98 which makes it dearer than Play.com!

I would have thought the adaptor was for a card reader not an alternative device? Though I could be wrong!

It is essentially an SD card shell with a slot for the mini. Lets it work in any reader or device that takes a regular SD card.

To see if your phone is able to use MicroSD card, go to ..

    www.gsmarena.com

Locate your phone by using the menus on the left hand side, and in the 'memory' section of your phone's specification, it should tell you what type of memory card (if any) is compatible. HTH.

What about the sony ericsson w580i?

Sony ericssons can only take memory stick PRO duo (w850, k750, p990 etc) or memory stick micro m2's (all new sony ericssons like the k810i and w580i and some older models like the k800i)
  • The price of the micro has gone up to £7.49 now!
