Can I use an exterior woodstain on floorboards?

I got a tin of Ronseal Quick Drying Woodstain and was about to use it in a bedroom on floorboards which have been sanded and are ready for staining. I just noticed that it says on the tin that it is for exterior use.
If I do go ahead and use it will I regret it? I can't get any more for a couple of days and really need to get on with the job as I will have to take a few days to varnish as well.
