Where would you go on holiday on Saturday?

I'd like to go away this Saturday. There would be two adults, ideally flying from Birmingham.
I'd like somewhere sunny but the other adult isn't too bothered, is rather interested in Austria or Italy at the moment.
Greece and Turkey are out of the question due to insurance limitations.
He won't do a noisy, high-rise type hotel. We're looking for something a bit luxury and couple-y. I've been looking at villas but they mostly seem to require a car and I'm just getting over a fractured leg so I'd rather not drive if possible.
Budget around £600 each, maybe a bit more for something really good.
Any ideas? I feel like I've been looking for years.

I would go to Olu Deniz in Turkey. What limitations stop you from going to Turkey ?0

My insurance have said no. I've got quite a few pre-existing conditions that are covered with my work insurance but wouldn't be on a temporary insurance, so I don't think I could easily change.
Originally we had a lovely villa in Lefkas booked, but the insurance vetoed that, as well as Turkey, Croatia and Hungary, due to "political unrest and higher risk of incidents".
I'm a bit surprised, but I'm hoping I can still find somewhere to go!Signature down for maintenance :rotfl:0 -
