Blade Media 5000s channel editing software

Has anyone got one of these and if so, have you managed to work out how to use the downloadable channel editing software? It seems like hard work !

Well im making some limited progress with this software and i see others are also having problems. First glitch was that i created and modified my big list of sats and favourites and tried to save the ssu file but the save option was greyed out !
Emailed Blademedia and fair play got a rapid reply saying hit the refresh icon on the software to get the file options back.
