Installed it at work and at home. Much smoother than Windows 7, searching is faster, better layout, love the multiple desktop feature, cortana is useful.
I love it. Can't really fault it so far. What will your verse be?

Bought a Chillblast wizzbang laptop with Win7, 'upgraded' to '10', useless. Return to 7 showed more errors in Chillblast support than MS blunders.0

I upgraded from Win 7 to 10 a couple of months ago.
It's been ok, apart from never-ending sleep/wake/power issues.
The PC will never auto-sleep, the monitors will never shut off after the specified 15 mins of inactivity, windows auto-update forcibly wakes the PC from sleep and won't put it back to sleep afterwards (I'm now trying Hibernate instead of Sleep to see if that fixes the issue, as I've lost count of the number of infuriating times I've got home to find both monitors on and the PC sat there burning electricity as it magically woke itself up to check for non-existent updates hours earlier).
Apart from that, all fine. All the programs I had on 7 still work on 10 and I didn't have to reinstall any of them.
Seems pretty fast too, and the boot time is super-quick.0 -
Microcrap o/s which one? Depends on what you the end user /consumer really wants, Do you want exclusive control over your PC or do you think it's a good thing for Microsoft and 3rd parties to know what files you have searched for on your PC, that and other bloat ware that helps it's self to your PC's resources , things that aren't really needed like cortana et el, in every version of windows since XP they (microsoft) have bloated their OS offerings increasing version after version Vista, 7, 8,8.1, Now 10 all bloated Metro, windows search that silently contact bing (Microsoft) every search you do by default , unless you change the not so obvious settings0

The opposite way around here, Windows 7 on the PC and I run windows 10 in a VM and restrict its net access.
Windows 10 advertising should say we are giving you win10 for free because we are stealing your data and selling it to make our money.

I upgraded to 10 (PC) but changed back soon after. I connect my PC to my TV using an HDMI cable and for some reason following the upgrade the connection didn't work. As soon as I downgraded back to 7, the connection worked.0

avoid windows 10 like the plague it's ruined my new laptop when i upgraded to it - it removed antivirus and lots of other stuff won't run and it keeps closing down but had no probs with original windows.0

during the installation you are told which programs are not compatible and must be deleted , the chances are that your AV package was one like this , and you should be able to d/load the compatible version and register it with your serial key
what other programs did it delete?Save a Rachael
