Hi
I want to get IOS 9 off my iPad Mini (version 1.) I've spotted few benefits from the 'upgrade.'
More importantly, the battery seems to be going a lot faster (might be my imagination.)
Is there anyway to get a version of IOS 8 from Apple servers? I don't want to download a copy of IOS 8 from a third party server, as I don't think it can be trusted.
Thanks

You can't downgrade to iOS 8. Apple stop signing the older software versions when they release a new version, so even if you could somehow manage to download a dodgy copy of an older version, it would not install.

Thanks. I've decided to just keep iOS9.
I've managed to get the battery life back to an acceptable standard by monitoring which apps were draining the most power, and removing them.
I've also turned 4G off.
Cheers

Better idea - Uninstall Apple, upgrade to Android
