Spendy month for me as i started Uni, new laptop, bits and bobs, bike service, cycle clothing. Nationwide messed up my previous overpayments on my mortgage which meant i had to pay a double mortgage payment this month GRRRR!
However - first lot of student finance dropped, straight to CC debt!
Found out i have no council tax for the next four years due to studying WHOOP!!
All CC debt moved onto new 0% which will last till i have it paid off. (low transfer fee too!)
And quite a bit of ad hoc work which will net me £500 when they pay the invoices.
So all in all a pretty good month. Starting to gain a bit of momentum on the remaining debt. This time next year Rodders.....

Well I paid off my vet debt that I ran up in August.
Found new enthusiasm for pushing towards my debt free date.
Agreed to a very frugal Christmas.
And managed 15 NSD's.Not giving up
Working hard to pay off my debt
Time to take back control

It was a great month for me on the debt busting front, as I finally got my payrise at work, which was back dated to December and I also did quite a bit of overtime at the weekends. I think I ended up working 27 days straight! I was also staying closer to work as I was being put up by work which reduced my travel costs.
This all mean that I am very close to getting down into 4 figures, which will happen this month. My new target for the end of the year is to get below £9000.
I've mentioned it in another thread but I now have more in shares through my company than I have debt. I can't access this at the moment but it is nice to know that I have that there as a fall back.LBM: Dec 2012 - Debt £38,180/ Now £0.

A very busy/spendy month as we did our driveway, another big house job done and one step closer to moving. Debt wise we went over the 25% paid off mark so considering the big house jobs we have done in the last couple of months, garden landscaped, new patio, new garage, new driveway I'm feeling pretty chuffed :-)DFD September 2017

It actually isn't for me as I knew that would be the case when I started paying into them. Although now that you mention it it would be great to be able to say I am debt free right now and move back into my house!
On the flip side, by time I can cash them in I will hopefully only have around £3000 left of the debt and will still be able to keep some of the shares invested.LBM: Dec 2012 - Debt £38,180/ Now £0.
