Hi Everyone,
At rather short notice I'm leaving on a trip to Oz and would like to take about 5K worth of fishing tackle.
I already have travel insurance but can anyone recommend a company soley for the tackle insurance?
By the way I called a company this evening and they said it would take 1 week to arrange!:(
Any suggestions would be most welcome.

How long are you going to be away from UK?
Will you be using your fishing tackle professionally?0 -
It's a 22 day trip purely for pleasure leaving this Friday.0

You should be able to cover it under your home insurance for crica £35 a year.
Ring your own insurers0 -
You pay extra to extend your policy to include personal effects for worldwide cover.
You may need to specify the fishing equipment.
Most Insurers will apply an exclusion excluding cover for the fishing tackle whilst in use eg if you snap the rod while playing a fish0 -
