TSB conversion to Student Account

I can't seem to find the answer to this on the main TSB site, so maybe someone here can help me?

I currently have a TSB Classic Current Account, wish a £3,000 OD Limit (sitting far too close to it for my liking too!)

I am not back at college, so should be eligible for a student account, which includes up to £1,500 interest free OD

Does anyone know if its possible to convert my standard current account to a student one and take advantage of the interest free OD or if it would need to be done as a totally separate account (which they'd probably say no to)

Yes you can convert it to a student account. You need to do it at a branch appointment though and show them proof of student status.

    Perfect!

Do you know if the procedure is to call the branch and ask for an appointment (me preferred method) or to just turn up and wait my turn?

You're better pre-booking an appointment as the branch may not have any for that day if you just show up.
