I am not going to go into it in detail - basing from prior threads, and numbers from memory.
At one point, PIP was down to ~1 week between receiving the completed form and arranging an appointment, with award following closely afterward in many cases.
This has not kept up for normal cases, and there has been some bounce-back, but it's still pretty good - with it taking about 3 weeks on average to decide a case once the form is returned.
Add another three weeks if you're in london or the southeast.0 -
How many more remaining DLA claimants are there still ?
I keep expecting a letter - informing me that I have to attend a "conversion" assessment to transfer to PIP - but nothing yet.......0 -

Basically it won't save much money at all and the government will end up losing more money paying these assessors.0
