Royal Mail redirection

I contacted as many companies/people as I could to tell them I was moving to hopefully reduce the amount being sent to my old address, but set up Royal Mail redirection for extra peace of mind, but it's given me anything but!
So far of the 12 pieces of post that I know of, only 2 have been delivered to my new address (both happened to be in the week after I complained I wasn't getting my redirected mail). So far it's just a cycle of something doesn't arrive so I tell them, they reply with an apology saying that they can't trace exactly where the letter was lost and that a very small number of letters do get lost within their system, but that they have checked locally and the redirection is definitely set up. Then again a few weeks later I've not received something so I tell them again, same "apology" and so on. On the 2 occasions I have received something, it has been within a week of me complaining, but then "normal" service resumes and I get nothing! I'm not so worried about what I've missed as I'm aware of it, it's what I'm not getting that I don't know about that worries me (and why I was willing to spend £60 I couldn't really afford to set up the redirection in the first place!). One of the letters I did thankfully receive contained private medical information, because despite me informing the doctors of my move they failed to change it for all aspects of their system. This was months after my move though, so who knows what was sent in the meantime.
I've complained so many times now and I'm not getting anywhere, is there anything I can do?
Thanks

We need to learn from Europe.
In Denmark all you need to do is inform your social office, like we have NI number here, they have something called "CPR-Number". So you inform the CPR department, all your addresses are changed instantly.
And you get a new CPR card with new address details on it.
I hope you get your mail.
RoyalMail is also getting ready for the Christmas rush and might have employed extra temps.0 -

Yeah but temps do sort them out at the mail centers.
And putting BS code letters in BA trolley is common.
So when letter reaches in the area BA they then have to send back to the connecting mail centre, and then you have temps again.
and how would complaining (which will be tagged at the delivery office)change what happens in a mail centre?0
