I also am thrilled to bits with a very novel combined paddle brush and hairdryer from Revlon.
I really can't praise this one highly enough. It feels gorgeous! I was tempted to wash my hair when it didn't need it just to have my mock Indian Head Massage again.

Would be interested to hear how this stands up with more usage ie does it dry the hair out if used too often or even just dries the hair out. My hair becomes a ball of frizz no matter what I do when I straighten it. Have seen many ads for gadgets similar to getting back from hols and quite intrigued.
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

I have also used up a Yankee Candle tart in Beach Wood - not a strong scent from this so WNBA, have replaced it with a Cherry Vanilla tart.

I've burnt Beach Wood before and found it too subtle. Cherry Vanilla Tart sounds like a bakewell though and I bet I'd like that. Have been back at Weight Watchers since being back off hols and, as usual at first, it's proving difficult to kerb my appetite! Maybe I should burn something sweet smelling. I brought out a tart called Honey Glow at the weekend and am burning this in the living room but not sure if I have stored it for too long as it doesn't smell very strong.

I agree with you about YC. I didn't buy any in the US as I'd already bought my B&BW a ones. Didn't smell any that wowed me. The only thing I was tempted by was a large jar of Jack Frost which is my fave and I was disappointed when it was discontinued but by then we really didn't have any more room in the cases so I left it. Have a few large candles still in my stash and may gift them at Christmas. Do still like their wax melts though.

I am not sure about YC. I have a vanilla and lime one which smells gorgeous. I always light it after I've changed my toddlers smelly nappy and it completely eradicates the smell. I have had other YC's though that haven't smelt as nice. But maybe I've owned them too long. I do like wax lyrical as well, and they smell lovely. And waitrose too.

I completely agree! I started buying 'pudding' scented toiletries when started slimming world and find I lose more weight when I buy something like that instead of biscuits and cake! Unfortunately I can't use toiletries as quick as food!
  • Does anyone know what the deal is with Mason Pearson hairbrushes? They are sooooo expensive!

John Frieda Frizz Ease shampoo and conditioner - sample sachets - really liked this, made my hair smooth, might buy the full sizes

Crabtree & Evelyn Pomegranate Hand Cream - full size - my all time fave, love the scent. trying to use up all hand creams before buying any more. think I have two left in the stash.

    Couple UU this afternoon:

Avon soft pink bubble bath 500ml- WBA I liked this scent. Avon bubble baths create the best bubbles IMO!

Elvive nutri gloss conditioner-WBA this is really good stuff. Doesn't dry out my hair, smells good and is a thick consistency.
