Good morning everyone. It is quite misty here still but the sun is starting to appear. I had a busy day yesterday. I had intended to give the kitchen a good clean but my hubby came home late morning as he was waiting on materials for a job. He decided to tile the kitchen window sill. It is on the to do list ( I've been waiting a few years!!!). The window sill got tiled and he went to the reclamation yard and got some old pine moulding to go at the back of the worktop to join onto the window sill. This was waxed antique pine.
This kitchen is in even more chaos than it was before I started yesterday so I shall get on and sort things out. Should only take me an hour or so and then it should look neat.
Happy anniversary TA
LW hope you feel better soon.
Hope everyone has a good day x0 -

Chap coming to the washer his morning, everything crossed please, I really do not need to have to buy a new one just now.
Looks like another nice day, although it feels rather chilly......0 -
Morning all,
TA - Happy Anniversary to you both
Judi - Do you do the peel yourself or at a salon?
Chilly but sunny today, supposed to be quite warm later. Washing on line another load in machine.
Being lazy this morning, I've cleaned the bathroom and will do the cloakroom in a while. I'm sitting watching the Wright Stuff and drinking coffee
Need to book a table at the local Brewers Fayre later as DD is coming home tomorrow (she needs a bridesmaid dress altering) and staying overnight and my dad wants to take us out for dinner. I'm looking forward to it because it's curry night
Toad in the hole for dinner tonight.0 -
Good Morning everyone another beautiful day here too, aren't we lucky? He Who Knows is driving home from DD1s having cleared all the garden waste and done a few other jobs, she's up to date with everything now, I've made 7 jars of spiced apple jelly this morning, lovely with pork dishes, I usually put a tablespoon in casseroles as background appleyness but it's nice on toast or in a sponge as well. I'm making lentil dahl and potato and carrot curry for supper tonight and walking the Cookie Monster after lunch and have some ironing to do this morning, should keep me out of mischief!!!
TA Happy Anniversary to both of you, hope you have a lovely day and can find time to just sit in this sunshine for a while, free and gorgeous!!!
Have a nice day everyone, Lyn xxx.0 -

No i have done it at home. The strength is 30% glycolic.
I did my first peel about a week ago but it didnt seem to make much difference it just stung a bit.
Did it again on Sunday but its made more of a difference. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
Thank you for the fingers crossed, the machine is not terminal this time, but if the same fault occurs again it will be, still at least I can get some cash put away if and when a new one is needed.
After the repair man had been we hoofed it over to Grantham to go to Aldi, phew, quite a bill but I have replaced stocks used and also started off the winter cupboard, just in case we are not able to get out for any reason.
Another lovely day, quite windy, so the laundry, which went through another cycle is dancing on the line. OH os out in the garden.
Having prepared the supper, I am sitting on my BTM for a while.0 -
Judi what the heck is a glycolic peel? It sounds positively scary![FONT=Verdana, sans-serif]I didn't get all the clearing up done yesterday, I ended up fixing someone's laptop. I should add this to my little biz stuff and start charging
It was quite funny, the wife was bringing the laptop round, the husband waited til she'd left their house then rang me before she arrived here. There were lots of ummmms and errrrrs before he asked me to change the google settings so that when something is typed in, previous searches aren't suggested. There's stuff he doesn't want her to see. I was tempted to tell him that I will not be complicit in his seedy searches, lol, but I just said 'yeah OK'

Why doesn't he just delete his history, or use Incognito browsing?:think:If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -

Its a treatment that improves the texture of the skin.

I went to the Apple shop in Bluewater today and a lovely young man showed me how to do more things on my lap-top.I think all of the guys there are doing the Movember thing as I have never seen so many beards in on place at one time:):)
Then went to John Lewis and sorted out how to do my 10x 20% off pick with a very helpful customer services lady. Spent a whole 70p on a carton of UHT milk and came home againcheap day out really.Just waiting for my DGS Mikey to come home from rugby practice, no doubt covered in mud and ravenous
Have a good evening chums

Good evening all, happy anniversary TA. Oh my gosh Judi you are much braver than me. Well today I went to DD's and had DGS it was misty again but cleared up and was beautiful. We went to Aldee and MrT's 4 villages away. I have a free bus pass due to a medical condition and little man loves going for a ride on the bus. We then called in where I used to work, seems so odd saying that, dropped off some muffins for them. We then walked the rest of the way home calling to play in the park and eat a packed lunch. Got back to DD's at 2.30 we had 4 1/2 hours out. Crawled under a bush looking for caterpillar's (DGS current favourite book is The very hungry caterpillar ) called at DS's as I was passing and weeded the side of the drive way. Then did some housework for DD, I did some washing before we went out and it was lovely and dry when we got back. Got home about 7pmWhy pay full price when you may get it YS0
